A few weeks ago, Sony offered a fascinating State of Play, which covered, for the most part, all the company’s plans in the VR area. Unfortunately, even though it was a popular event and we all enjoyed it, most of us felt some announcements were missing—the big productions and any hardware update, but there were none.
All of the PS4 and PS5 users keep wondering when the big announcements will be shared publicly, and for the time being, Sony hasn’t confirmed anything. But a very kind insider suggested that another State of Play could be coming soon. Tom Henderson first tweeted, "Sony never gives out State of Play dates and is very secretive with the events, so like always, it's putting pieces of the puzzle together to see when/if they'll be such an event.
I'll publish the hardware stuff this week if I get the all-clear.” And later, he gathered the facts and revealed what could be a State of Play event.

Henderson’s followers agree that he did put hard facts together. But many other users think that it’s not possible to have two events so close to each other. The tweet is just a rumor based on what a reliable source found in different places. It could mean a Sony event is coming, but it could also tell that the company would share software and hardware updates without involving the virtual showcase.
