As you probably remember, Nintendo gave us the surprise of our lives last year when a new Bayonetta title was officially announced. A trailer and some gameplay came along, promising 2023 to be the year in which we could play the third installment from this top-rated franchise. So is it enough just knowing that the game could arrive sometime next year? Not really.
Now that we’re halfway through 2022, the imminent announcement for Bayonetta 3's release date is getting closer. But Nintendo hasn’t mentioned it at any event or press release. If we also think about it, the latest Direct Mini was a perfect opportunity for this, but the big N didn’t even make a peep.
IS IT TRUE THAT THERE’S A CONFIRMED DATE?
Twitter user Syluxhunter has revealed to own information regarding the upcoming title of the Bayonetta franchise. And it looks like it won’t be next year. From the insider info provided by Syluxhunter, on October 28, we could be owning a copy of the anticipated game. Since next September, we will probably receive the new Pokémon Scarlet & Violet; it would make sense to release Bayonetta 3 in October. Like many other journalists and reporters, their info has proven to be true in the past. Nevertheless, it’s still not the official confirmation date, so we’ll have to wait and find out.
A Nintendo Direct is happening next week on third party games. I think June 28 or 29.

FYI for all the nitpickers: I never said Bayonetta 3 would be in the Partner Direct. This is all I said and it was all correct. https://t.co/Venk00mzEV

Breaking into Nintendo HQ to obtain information on their latest Direct was as easy as breaking into the Galactic Federation to steal one of their Metroids (which was very easy).
