Great news for the basketball fans! 2K Sports recently announced, among other things, that the popular Jordan Challenge would come back to be part of a homage to one of the most prominent players in the history of the NBA. If you are into this sport, you probably know that the number 23 belongs to a legend. And coincidentally, the upcoming NBA title will be the 2K23, so this couldn’t go unnoticed. This is why the next title will include a special edition with the one and only Michael Jordan with an epic comeback after his appearance on NBA 2K11.
Through a press release, 2K Sports shared some relevant news about the upcoming NBA 2K23. And among the highlights of the information provided, a special edition release was also brought up. Inspired by the legend’s career and success with the Chicago Bulls in the 90s, NBA 2K23 Michael Jordan Edition will launch with Jordan’s portrait of the last time he won with the Bulls (on Game 6 in 1998 against Utah). On the other hand, the NBA 2K23 Championship Edition will also portray the legendary 23 Bulls jersey autographed by Jordan.
But that’s not it! According to the press release, the popular Jordan Challenge will be back for NBA 2K23 with a renewed version. Some of you may remember it from the NBA 2K11 as a personal journey through Jordan’s career in his shoes, literally.
