Everything indicates that PlatinumGames, which is a Japanese video game developer, wants to take the next step to make a significant change in its future projects. For this, they have decided to hire a Nintendo veteran.
Who did they decide to hire? They hired Takao Yamane, in case you had never heard of him; Yamane had a 27-year career at Nintendo, in which he held different positions, including Vice President of Nintendo France and General Director of Sales of Nintendo of Europe.
The news comes from Famitsu, which affirms that Takao Yamane will become the new vice president and commercial director of PlatinumGames, so more information is expected to be given in the coming days.
Yamane is expected to be the primary support for the current president of PlatinumGames, Atsushi Inaba, to achieve all the company's goals and continue with its essential releases.
It is worth mentioning that this movement occurred when PlatinumGames and Nintendo just shared the release date of Bayonetta 3, a game that will arrive exclusively on the hybrid console on October 28.
