In case you have forgotten, the Italian team Juventus didn’t show up in FIFA 20, 21 and 22, instead, we got the Piemonte Calcio, a made-up team with a fictional kit and logo. This had a good reason, back in 2019 Komami signed it up to be an exclusive partner club in eFootball PES 2020.
However, this exclusivity deal has ended and the team is back on FIFA 23 after a looooong time. Electronic Arts confirmed that Juventus will arrive in September thanks to an exclusive multi-year partnership.
Exclusivity and many details
That is not all, not only the whole team will be back, but also the club’s home ground, the Allianz Stadium. On the other hand, former player Claudio Marchisio will be added to the game as a FUT Hero, and current squad player Dušan Vlahović will be an ambassador for the game.
Of course, Konami hasn’t clarified if this deal will mean the complete disappearance of the club in its eFootball series, which currently boasts Juventus as one of its main ‘partner’ clubs.
In the words of the VP of brand for FIFA, David Jackson, “We’re excited to reaffirm our deep commitment to Italian football through this exclusive partnership with Juventus, this phenomenal club means so much to us and our fans,”
