For all the fans of the Batman universe who are eager for every news of the next game to be released in October, Gotham Knights, we share the good information that a new trailer has been released courtesy of IGN showing the first 16 minutes of gameplay.

The gameplay sets after the prologue (still secret). We can see the characters Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, and Red Hood discussing the death of Batman. Once you have chosen the character to play, your duty will be to investigate Gotham University in search of Dr. Kirk Langstrom.

Many will know the character as Man-Bat, but when Batgirl arrives, Langstrom is already deceased, so she begins to explore his office for clues, eventually locating the scene of his death and a secret laboratory. Once out of there is when the action starts.

Batgirl meets a group of gangsters who attack and start causing trouble; that's when we get our first look at the combat moves focused on melee and ranged attacks. All this with a tutorial notification to learn how to use Batgirl's actions.

It highlights the kinematics and effects in the character's combat, combining slow motion, different camera perspectives, sounds, and good fighting movements.

We can also see how the character must go around the place in search of each gang member to stalk them and attack them by surprise.

We leave you the gameplay video below:

What do you think of what was presented in the gameplay? Tell us in the comments.

Gotham Knights is scheduled for October 25 on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC platforms.
