In case you're not aware of trends in the entertainment world, there have been many controversies recently surrounding former Nickelodeon actress Jennette McCurdy, best known for starring as Sam on iCarly, the kids' series.
In case you did not know, Jennette had already revealed in different media and interviews specific experiences she had at Nickelodeon, implying that it was not a safe place to work, especially for minors.
WHAT IS GOING ON WITH JENNETTE MCCURDY?
It happens that the actress revealed that the Nickelodeon television network offered her a millionaire bribe not to expose the abuses of Dan Schneider, producer of several Nick children's series, such as iCarly, Zoey 101, Victorious, Drake & Josh, among others.
This was made known thanks to Jennette's new book that is titled a very controversial phrase, "I'm Glad My Mom Died," which will be published on August 9. However, Vanity Fair picked up a print fragment that Schneider alludes to: "They're giving you $300,000, and all they want you to do is never talk publicly about your Nickelodeon experience."
It was in 2014 when the television network offered the bribe when the actress was about to leave the channel for good after the last program in which she participated, Sam & Cat. Although she does not explicitly say Schneider's name, she refers to him as "El creator".

Likewise, many people on Twitter began to throw evidence about the strange dealings that Schneider had with many of the actresses of the television network, in addition to images of the strange performances that the actresses had to do many times for the programs, which any adult who watches these scenes will be able to understand the double meaning in many of them.
It is well known that Dan Schneider is not well received by the actresses/actors of the programs, as many of them have made certain clear clues about the uncomfortable dealings or revealed Dan Schneider's obsession with feet.
The relationship between Dan and Nickelodeon broke down in 2018 after the producer was singled out in the #MeToo movement for inappropriate behavior by various actresses who had appeared on his shows over the years.
Although Dan was not found to have been sexually assaulted, he was designated as an abusive and aggressive person at work for humiliating and assault with several people on the set.
At the moment, it only remains to wait for the publication of Jennette's book to obtain more details about her working relationship with the producer and the television network.
