The King of Fighters XV has been giving players content left and right, either from a couple of single character drops to full teams.
Team Garou, Team South Town and Team Awakened Orochi were the latest batch of characters to arrive in the game, so this time and as announced before in the game’s roadmap; the next and fourth DLC drop brings Team Samurai from Samurai Shodown to KOF XV.
If you are not familiar with Samurai Shodown, don’t worry! This is one of the biggest fighting series by SNK, actually is considered one of the firsts in the genre. As the name could suggest the plot takes place in 18th-century Japan, during the Sakoku period of Japan and focus primarily on weapon-based combat.
They arrive this fall!
Haohmaru, Nakoruru, and Darli Dagger are arriving at the game this fall and will be the last team to be introduced in 2022. Also this DLC, finally brings together the protagonists of SNK's four most iconic sagas; Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting, King Of Fighters and Samurai Shodown within a single fighting game.
Additionally, the official “new characters” trailer, announces that KOF XV will receive a new lineup of individual characters next year, starting with none other than Shingo Yabuji and Kim Kaphwan, two iconic and veteran characters from The King of Fighters.
Remember, The King of Fighters XV is available on PlayStation5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
