MK Celebrates 30th-anniversary releasing Mortal Kombat Trilogy on GOG

Did we mention that is at a special price?

As part of the celebrations of the 30th year of Mortal Kombat, GOG is partnering with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to re-release Mortal Kombat Trilogy. Yeah, you read that one right, prepare to revive those glorious days.

The release of the MK Trilogy highlights the 30th anniversary of Mortal Kombat premiere in 1992 and is the next step of GOG’s continuing efforts to bring classic games to the new generations of gamers around the world.

Everything is set to enjoy!

According to their official statement, this release compiles Mortal KombatMortal Kombat II, and Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, all characters and stages were restored from MK and MKII, as well as the bonuses that the trilogy initially included. On the other hand, they also added new finishing moves, Baraka and Raiden to UMK 3, made the bosses playable and featured the secret fighter Chameleon.

All of this was possible thanks to the efforts made by GOG Team, who worked tirelessly with Warner Bros to make it accessible for modern platforms.

We need to mention that according to some reviews, playing MK on PC is not an easy task as you may encounter a couple of glitches when playing in windowed mode; out of this the game should run smoothly. You can enjoy this release by visiting the GOG website here and remember, right now is at special price so don't miss the chance.

If by any chance you are not familiar with GOG, no worries! GOG.com is a digital distribution platform for video games and films. It is operated by an owned subsidiary of CD Projekt, so feel free to buy your favourite classics without any risk here.
