Oh no! FIFA 23 accidentally launches a month early on Xbox

It's not available anymore but now everything is “leaked”…

Well, if this is not extremely bad luck, I don’t know what it is… FIFA 23 is scheduled to debut on September 30 a whole month away and now thanks to circumstances beyond anyone's control some Xbox players had access to the Ultimate Edition of the game.

At first, some gamers reported that the FIFA 23: Ultimate Edition version was already available for download on Xbox, this only allowed the game to be in your library and would not launch until the official date arrived, however, players who were part of the recent FIFA 23 beta test managed to access it by updating it; giving them full access to all modes, player ratings and even the unannounced Liverpool and Burnley kits.

Everything was leaked

As expected it was only a matter of time, until dozens of leaks spread like wildfire on Twitter, sharing everything including the statistics of FIFA Ultimate Team, details on game modes and as we said before the latest unannounced uniforms for the Premiere League teams.

EA is obviously not happy and even though the online servers seem to have been shut down there is still a good number of users with access to offline modes like career and kick-off.

So far, EA is banning any players caught streaming the game, or posting clips of the game, however, they haven’t been able to revoke complete access to every user who managed to play the game.

FIFA 23 (officially) will be available on early access on September 27, and will have the full release on September 30.
