A couple of days ago we shared the news of the imminent arrival of two new characters on MultiVersus, them being Gizmo and Stripe which were supposed to arrive on Tuesday, September 6, however, one of them will not make it on time.
According to a tweet, the team at MultiVersus is unable to “coerce Gizmo out of his box” so now our cute little fella will be joining the roster on Thursday, September 8.

Tuesday… Thursday…
The studio still has to polish some details for its release, so this short delay is understandable the only question left is if Stripe keeps the original release date as previously, it was mentioned that Gizmo would be the first Gremlins' character to arrive in the title. If so, Stripe will join the battles later, on a date yet to be confirmed, hopefully, this delay only applies to Gizmo and will not affect other characters.
On the other hand, Tony Huynh, director of the game, pointed out that they are also working on a major update with many improvements and surprises that will delight the community. The creative defined the update as the "biggest so far".
We are very excited to see what’s coming next, so far rumours and leaks have said that we can expect Chungus, Beetlejuice and the Wicked Witch from The Wizard of Oz on the game… are they going to be part of this update?
