Assassin's Creed was unmistakably present at Ubisoft Forward in September. The title was given a proper showcase, which culminated in a series of announcements about the series' future.
We also saw the first trailer for the next chapter, Assassin's Creed Mirage, among the many new features. However, some gamers noticed an unusual rating by series standards.
Many gamers have noticed the words "AO" while looking through the pre-orders for Assassin's Creed Mirage (Adults Only). This suggests that Ubisoft's title may be restricted to adults only. In reality, as the studio quickly pointed out shortly after, this rating was made in error and is not final.
The title's rating is still pending, so what appears in online stores does not reflect the truth. The developers have confirmed that the page will be updated with the correct rating soon.
Following the announcement of Assassin's Creed Mirage, some store pages displayed the game for preorders with an Adults Only ESRB rating.

While the game is still pending rating, we want to reassure players that no real gambling or lootboxes are present in the game.
Although no firm release date has been set, we do know that Assassin's Creed Mirage will be available in 2023. Many of the other projects announced at Ubisoft Forward will most likely be released the following year.
Codename Red (set in feudal Japan) and Assassin's Creed Infinity are undoubtedly the most anticipated. The latter, albeit with some ambiguity, appears to be a legitimate container for the saga's titles.
