The fastest-selling Call of Duty ever has unfortunately also generated some controversy. It has come to our attention the words of Modern Warfare 2 composer Sarah Schachner, who has chosen to distance herself from the soundtrack presented in the game, which will also soon be released on streaming platforms.
Schachner, who is also known for composing the musical accompaniments for several Assassin's Creed (Unity, Origins and Valhalla), Anthem, and the movie Prey (prequel to Predator), said that the songs she composed for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 were not presented in keeping with her artistic vision.
Many of you have been asking about the MWII soundtrack release.

The composer was not able to show her artistic intents
"what will be released on the soundtrack is not my artistic intent in regards to mixing and mastering," she said, adding that she did not even have control over how her music was incorporated into the game. In light of this, the original masters (which are in hers and the Audio Team's hands) will never be made public.
The incident also contributed to the deterioration of her relationship with the creators of the Call of Duty series, particularly the Audio Director, which is why Schachner will not compose any more music for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone.
In case you missed it: Here are all PlayStation VR2 games announced today.
"I am sad to say I can no longer continue to compose music for Modern Warfare II / Warzone. Over the past couple of months the working dynamic with the audio director has become increasingly challenging and I don't see any path forward," Schachner stated.
