It’s Death Stranding's third anniversary today! And Kojima Productions is celebrating a very important milestone, according to a Tweet via the game’s official account they have announced that the game has connected over 10 million Porters worldwide across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.

Are we surprised?

Honestly, yes and no. Death Stranding is quite an interesting work and while its strange plot may not sit well with some, it's undeniable how the game hooks you just by delivering parcels.

On the other hand, Kojima also shared the celebration of this milestone on his personal Twitter account:

Now, it may be surprising to you how the story of Sam Bridges has compelled this number of players after three years. Well, it can mostly be attributed to subscription services like Game Pass. Back in August the game arrived on the PC Game Pass and don’t forget that it also received a PlayStation 5’s Director’s cut edition back in 2021.

Also, the game amassed a good number of players back in its launch week and lets not forget that in 2021 it was reported that the game sold over 5 million copies worldwide across platforms.

Incredible news for Kojima Productions and 505 Games, at least while we wait for more news on their future projects, as the rumours are bigger than ever with the next titles produced by the company. Are you looking forward to any of them? Remember to share your thoughts in the comments below.
