Last October of this year, EA confirmed the development of the next The Sims 5, which for now is under the name "Project Rene." And although we are a long way from its premiere, the Sims community is already suggesting details they would like to see in the next installment.

A Reddit user has shared screenshots from the apparent top-secret The Sims 5 playtest happening last month, thus opening up the conversation for fans to discuss what they like and don't like about the current version of the game.

One of the features that The Sims community mentions most that they would like to see in the next installment is the open world as it used to be in The Sims 3. Fans expect the open world, the customization capacity of 3 with the visual appeal of The Sims 4.

THE SIMS 5 LOOKS MORE CARTOONY”

Something that they mention a lot is also the visual style of the game, referring to the fact that it now looks much more “Cartoony” compared to previous games in the franchise.

However, just as one user mentioned, we are very far from the title's premiere, so we are now in the very early development of the game, meaning that the final result will most likely be very different from what we can see now.
