MultiVersus’ first season passed in the blink of an eye however it gave us a ton of content that sure we enjoyed, with an ever-growing roaster, Season 1 added Rick, Morty, Gizmo, Stripe and Black Adam which gave more variety and personality to the game.
Also, we shouldn't forget that this past season had three game modes that added that little extra to the title and all of them will be updated in Season 2, so there is still a lot to look forward to, shall we begin?

New everything
This season has a bunch of new roster additions that in the words of the team at the Player First Games are “incredibly exciting”, fortunately, this time they decided to give us a bit of a tease of one of the new characters who will be joining the MVS roster in Season 2.
Hailing from the planet Mars and sent to destroy Earth with his Illudium Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator, Marvin the Martian will soon be making his way to MultiVersus, in yet another fruitless attempt to claim victory.
On the other hand, a new map is coming and it's from a fan-favourite TV show, yes we are talking about a Game of Thrones-themed map with all the hazards and pitfalls you’d come to expect from the land of Westeros.
Soon you’ll be able to hurl your opponents away from the Iron Throne while an all-new remix of the awesome Game of Thrones theme music plays in the background which has been composed with multiple sections that can transition dynamically depending on what mayhem is taking place in the match.
In more technical matters…
This season comes with important network and latency improvements in order to optimize performance, they recently implemented a multi-path network traffic acceleration to improve stability and latency, which will lead to a much improved online experience for players worldwide.
They are planning to keep improving these areas as the online experience is basic in this title, so in case you have problems with the online performance, don’t worry, they are working hard on it.
Last but not least the new battle pass is filled with a ton of material; new badges, new icons, banners and taunts, you name it, there is a lot for you to unlock and enjoy. Also, we get new character variants such as Baker Street Tom & Jerry and Astronaut Velma.
