The day we have been waiting for has come! The newest Dead by Daylight chapter Forged in Fog is now available for all players with a brand new killer called The Knight (if you haven't heard of him yet, don’t worry you will go crazy when you learn how to use it), a new survivor Vittorio Toscano, a new map called the Shattered Square and six new perks.

The Knight is anything but easy to escape, this nightmare material lord is accompanied by 3 loyal Guards: The Jailer, The Assassin, and The Carnifex who obey his commands with unwavering loyalty… but how exactly? The Knight special ability “Guard Patrol” allows you to create a Patrol Path for one of your Guards to follow you can either set your Guard to engage in an action like damaging a generator, destroying a pallet or a wall or you know, hunting a survivor.
Then here comes the fun part, when a Guard detects a survivor in or around his patrol path the guard will begin pursuing them attempting to injure or down them. Of course, each guard has different abilities which you need to use wisely. The Carnifex breaks and damages objects faster, the Assassin stays on the hunt for the longest and the Jailer patrols longer and faster than the others.
On the other hand, The Knight perks are the following:
- Nowhere To Hide: Upon kicking a Generator, the aura of all nearby Survivors will be revealed.
- Hex: Face the Darkness: Injure a Survivor to ignite a Hex Totem tied to that Survivor. When that Hex is active, every other Survivor outside your Terror Radius will scream intermittently, revealing their position.
- Hubris: Whenever you are stunned by a Survivor, that Survivor becomes Exposed for a duration.

Next is our brand-new survivor Vittorio Toscano, a voyager from a lost age and willing wanderer of realms, Toscano strove to unearth the mystic and arcane a ceaseless quest that remains ongoing.
You will love him, as his perks include:
- Potential Energy: After repairing a Generator for a brief uninterrupted duration, this Perk can be activated. Upon activation, all repair progress will not contribute to that Generator. Instead, it will charge up to 20 Tokens, storing a considerable dose of repair progress.Once gained, Tokens can be used to immediately transfer repair progress into a Generator of your choosing.
- Fogwise: Hitting a Great Skill Check while repairing a Generator will reveal the Killer’s Aura for a brief duration.
- Quick Gambit: When you are chased in the vicinity of a Generator, any Survivor repairing that Generator will receive a repair speed boost.

Last but not least, the new map The Shattered Square, was a once prosperous and full-of-life village that ended up destroyed by The Knight and his loyal followers, now filled with debris and death, you can run, you can hide but The Knight eventually will find you.
