Need for Speed Unbound is the upcoming new game of this well-known car racing franchise. Yesterday afternoon (November 23) the official NFS Twitter account shared a post giving apologies for apparent misconduct by one of their social media administrators.

What happened?

One of the NFS administrators was responding to fans on Twitter as general, but some fan comments were seemingly negative towards the Premium purchase benefits that they were getting.

The administrator's responses "crossed the line". The Twitter post with the apology reads as follows: "We admit we got a bit caught up in the hype for launch and some of our recent social media replies crossed the line. To those fans we upset, we apologize. We will do better. See you here next week."

One of the responses to this post provides the context that started this drama. We can see that some of NFS controversial responses were "Milkshake Brain", "cry about it", and "I'm not reading all that".

The other comments given on the apology post, surprisingly, seem to support the administrator's comments to that user. It is said that the user's opinion deserved to those answers, even if they appeared "edgy". And some fans even expressed that thanks to this discussion, they are now interested in buying the game.

In case you missed it: Need for Speed Unbound: these are the requirements on PC and its performance on consoles

The NFS surely crossed the line, it was not professional to have acted that way on an official social media account, however, people are supporting them as it seemed deserved to be done. Deciding if it was correct or not will be up to you.
