Capcom's Monster Hunter franchise continues to rise in popularity all over the world. Even more with their latest title with his correspondent expansion DLC Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak. The game is currently available on PC and Nintendo Switch, but a new rumor says it will become available for next-gen consoles in January 2023.
Monster Hunter Rise has hit more than 11 million copies sold on PC and Switch since its launch. The Sunbreak expansion has also made around 4.4 million copies. And it will probably become a much higher number if the title becomes available for PlayStation and Xbox next-gen consoles.
What is this rumor about?
It is said by prolific leaker Tom Henderson, from Insider Gaming, that the game will be out on "Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC in 2023 and it will be available on Game Pass."
Apparently, Monster Hunter Rise would be out for all consoles on January 20, and its expansion would launch sometime in Spring 2023. It’s said that Wit will be a full 4K60 port with 3D audio on current-gen consoles."
If this is true, we can also anticipate this being announced at The Game Awards on December 8. At this time it seems to be trustworthy leaked information as Tom Henderson has given many other leaks in the gaming community, but it is recommended to take this information as the rumor that it is.
In case you missed it: Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, invasion of Legendaries!
It would be great news to have this great game available on all platforms so that we can hunt monsters along with our friends. If this leak happens to be true, remember that you read it first at LEVEL UP!
