Wanted bug fixes? Here they are

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is a glitchy mess even Nintendo who never refunds games are now doing it after the big backlash, however, seems like Nintendo and Game Freak are listening to their players as just minutes ago they announced an update for the game, this being version 1.1.0 which will go live on December 1, meaning tomorrow!

In case you missed it: Nintendo is making refunds for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

What can we expect?

According to a tweet via Nintendo of America’s official account, both companies take the feedback from players very seriously and showed that they are pretty aware of the mess the launch version was, so they have assure us that they will continue to work on improvements to the games,, the first one includes the following:

Ver. 1.1.0

  • Season 1 of Ranked Battles will kick off, allowing you to enjoy Ranked Battles through the Battle Stadium.
  • - Please check the in-game notice for more details about Ranked Battles Season 1.
  • An issue has been fixed that caused the music to not play correctly during the battles with the Elite Four and the Top Champion in the Victory Road path.
  • Other select bug fixes have been made.

While they don’t specify the other “selected bugs” they are fixing we hope that this change upgrades the experience for all players who have had a hard time enjoying the game.

Remember this update needs approximately 1GB of memory available so be sure to have enough space in your memory card. Also, is worth noting that if your console is connected to the internet this update will download and install automatically.
