The game developers Arkane Studios are not only known for Deathloop, but they have also created the Dishonored series, Prey, and the upcoming title Redfall. It has been suggested by Deathloop's cast that the game studio might be working on something that could be directly related to this title.
In an interview with Streamily, voice actors Jason Kelley and Ozioma Akagha (voicing Colt and Julianna, respectively) affirmed to be still under Arkane's contract and that they are working on something related to Deathloop. Confirming that the game studio is in current development of another project that could be a sequel, a DLC, or something else.
After the confirmation of Deathloop being set in the same universe of Dishonored, we could also be expecting a special DLC that relates both title stories or even a Dishonored DLC that includes the other game's characters somehow. But these are only hypotheses.
Another possibility lies in the rumor that has been going around this year about a new project about the third installment of the Dishonored series. It might be best to take it as it is, a rumor. Arkane Studios will let us know when the right time arrives.

Whether a new DLC or sequel is made or not, Arkane Studios is surely working on something related to the same universe. Knowing that the cast is still assisting them in a project that includes Deathloop's characters. We should wait for the future announcements that the game studio might do throughout 2023.
