If you were able to watch The Game Awards event that happened on December 8, you may remember when one of the first awards to be given out was for Best Performance. Which Christopher Judge's interpretation as Kratos was the winner and his speech took longer than expected.
Well, The Game Awards aware of this wanted to make a call to The Guinness World Records so Judge can get an extra award for actually breaking a new record. Will he manage to get it?
The Game Awards did its due diligence and found that the longest acceptance speech was given by Greer Garson at the 1942 Oscars in which he spoke for 5 minutes 30 seconds, while Christopher Judge's speech at The Game Awards was 7 minutes 59 seconds.
Next, the official Guinness World Records account was tagged to give visibility to this event and, possibly, give another award to Judge and all for having received an award.
Leave it to Kratos to set a world record.

We could imagine that at the time of his speech presenter Geoff Keighley would have a negative response to this situation by extending the scheduled time of the event that had previously been warned would be much shorter than usual.
But Judge has confirmed via Twitter that it was quite the opposite, Geoff was very nice to him, and with everything mentioned regarding his speech, he took it as a good fun moment.
My last thoughts on “the speech” @geoffkeighley has been nothing but kind to me. I have taken it all as good fun. For those that have been successful in their lives all on their own, congrats. For me it took a village. And I will always be grateful to them❤️

The Game Awards is one of the most anticipated events each year, and although much of its attention was taken by the last moment of its broadcast in which an insider mentioned Bill Clinton, the event still flowed as expected and we were able to witness the longest acceptance speech we will hear in many years.
