Pokémon Scarlet and Violet have broken all records for the Nintendo series, yet there have been not a few user complaints about the inadequate technical aspect of the pair of Game Freak-branded games.

Having already updated the two titles via previous patches, the development team is working on a significant new update that will be rolled out during February, as announced by The Pokémon Company and Nintendo.

What we know so far

Details regarding the update have not yet been shared; however, we know that it "will include bug fixes and additional features." More information will follow "soon," so let's stay tuned for upcoming updates from Nintendo.

The first update for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet was released in early December, which helped patch the numerous technical problems reported by players. The two games still need improvement, and the developers will try to further stabilize the game experience with the new patch.
