This Friday, January 13, was a day anticipated by many players in the Super Smash Bros. community. For what reason in particular? You may ask. It's because the new amiibo of Kazuya from Tekken and Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII are being released. But we should remember that Kazuya and Sephiroth are part of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's DLC Fighter Waves.

On December 14, 2022, the official Japanese Super Smash Bros. Twitter account shared an announcement revealing these two amiibo figures with pre-sale availability. On the post, we can also see a short video showcasing each amiibo and you can watch it below.

But these two were not the only ones announced. Also revealed were the Homura and Hikari figures from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 as an amiibo Double Set, but these still don't have a specific release date but are expected to be sometime during 2023.

The Twitter announcement was made by Nintendo of America and when sharing the images of each amiibo people could see something odd on the presentation display of the post and are making fun of it. It might give a laugh as well when reading the Zuya and Hiroth names.

In case you missed it: How long will Developer_Direct, the next Xbox and Bethesda event, last?

Many players have already received the amiibo they previously separated, but you can also get them starting today while units are still available in stores, so don't delay in getting them.

Which of the four amiibo is your favorite? Let us know in the comments!
