Xbox and Bethesda have already confirmed that Starfield will arrive in the first half of this year and will soon reveal its official release date. For this reason, the publication of an online store attracted a lot of attention from gamers, as it reveals a possible release date.

Is STARFIELD releasing in march? A RECENT "LEAK" DEBUNKED
According to the online store, Starfield is weeks away and will arrive before Redfall. Jez Corden, the editor of Windows Central, spoke about this information and asked gamers not to trust it as it is a simple placeholder.
Many think that this is a good leak since Xbox confirmed that it is preparing an event about the space title, where we will surely know the new release date. Corden points out that the CDKeys tab is outdated, so he is convinced that the information is not accurate.
The store notes that the game requires Bethesda's launcher for PC, a platform that disappeared months ago in favor of Steam. In addition, Corden believes it is unlikely that Microsoft has communicated an exact release date to retailers.
Another interesting detail is that, according to his sources, the title is already playable from start to finish; however, its date is not yet set. For all this, it is best that gamers wait for the official event to know the exact information.

It was a big surprise for many to see this early date for the anticipated release of Starfield, and although many were blindly confident in this "leak" we hope they are not disappointed to learn that it is not at all reliable and the reality is different. On the bright side, we know that Starfield is very close to release and we can even anticipate it sometime in 2023.
