Resident Evil 4 is an all-time classic because even if there were no remake in the pipeline, it would still be talked about 18 years after its release. An example of this is a recent community investigation into the possibility of Leon not dying at the hands of Dr. Salvador's saw.

In recent days, the Resident Evil community was actively analyzing a curious detail of Resident Evil 4. It all started when a player discovered that it was possible to survive Dr. Salvador's attack, one of the first lethal enemies you face in the game.

According to the video they shared, Leon must have the full lifeline and pause in the middle of Dr. Salvador's attack animation, just before his saw touches Leon's neck. What happens? The attack is performed but by the end, Leon makes a move to push the enemy and does not die.

The community began with the construction of knowledge with different users contributing to the cause. At first, it was concluded that it is not a glitch because the animation in which Leon pushes Dr. Salvador after surviving the attack indicates that at some point, Capcom considered it.

Then, it was confirmed that this only happens in the HD remastered versions of Resident Evil 4, so we must forget that it is possible to survive this deadly attack in the GameCube and PlayStation 2 editions. Finally, another user pointed out that this is something that happens only 25% of the time you try Capcom did consider this possibility in some pre-release versions of Resident Evil 4 but removed it for the final product, this detail being a redoubt of that idea.

After many years since the release of this beloved title is surprising to think that recently we can have more discoveries that depend on a little luck, but it is likely that this little trick we can not witness in the new Resident Evil 4 Remake, which will debut next March 24 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
