We have some interesting news related to Japan and Pokémon, as the people behind the franchise have just announced a new Sandshrew-inspired playground, an attraction that all fans will want to visit.

As you probably know, Pokémon remains a great global phenomenon and continues to conquer people of all ages. However, The Pokémon Company does not forget the little ones and wants to take advantage of the popularity of its characters to offer more unique experiences.

On this occasion, it has just announced the construction of a new playground that will be inspired by Sandshrew, the first Pokémon generation of the Earth type that will seek to offer a space to combine the saga with a place that will invite children to engage in physical activities.

It is worth mentioning that the attraction will open inside the Chubu Tottori Sand Dunes Children's Park, located in Tottori Prefecture, on May 5 this year. Once available, the location will join the catalog of the Pokémon Local Acts initiative, which has already inaugurated other spaces across Japan, such as Chansey Park in Fukushima, Slowpoke Park in Kagawa, and Geodude Park in Iwate.
