Netflix released a trailer for Henry Cavill's final episodes as Geralt of Rivia

As promised, Netflix unveiled a trailer for The Witcher this morning to give us a brief glimpse of what's in store for Season 3. The good news is that the new episodes already have a release date and their premiere is relatively close.

Season 3 is very important for fans of the series and fans of the franchise in general, as it will be the farewell of Henry Cavill, who will leave the role of Geralt of Rivia to Liam Hemsworth from next season.

The Witcher Season 3 now has a premiere date

Fans can now mark their calendars, as Season 3 already has a premiere date. It is important to note that the season will be divided into 2 parts: the first one with 5 episodes will arrive on June 29. Subsequently, on July 27, the second will be released with only 3 episodes.

The plot will continue and will focus on Ciri's pursuit. Geralt and Yennefer will do their best to protect her and help her with their magical powers; however, beasts, monarchs and wizards will do their best to capture her.

This is how they will reach Aretuza, where the 3 protagonists will be in great danger when they discover several betrayals. Geralt and Yennefer will risk everything to save Ciri from political corruption and black magic. To do so, the White Wolf will resort to methods that will put him in danger.

The trailer of just over 1 minute gives us a glimpse of some of the most exciting moments that Season 3 will offer. We won't tell you more and we leave you the video below:
