Mortal Kombat would have this unexpected guest fighter in its new game

More and more reports emerge about the alleged roster of the next game

The announcement of a new Mortal Kombat seems imminent and there are already reports about its release window. There is even talk about the possible guest fighters we could see in the next installment of the franchise.

Rumors claim that Peacemaker and Homelander could be part of the roster of fighters, but everything indicates that NetherRealm Studios is preparing even more surprises. We tell you this because a reliable source talked about the arrival of an unexpected guest fighter for the next Mortal Kombat: Conan the Barbarian.

Will Conan the Barbarian be a fighter in the new Mortal Kombat?

Jez Corden, editor of Windows Central, spoke again about the upcoming Mortal Kombat and what it might offer in terms of guest characters. He reaffirmed reports about the presence of Peacemaker and Homelander, but added that Conan the Barbarian will probably also be part of the roster.

This popular character has already had some presence in the franchise, as Mortal Kombat 11 received a skin for Kotal Kahn that is inspired by the warrior. According to reports, Conan the Barbarian would now be a character as such for the next installment.

It is important to note that NetherRealm Studios has not confirmed any guest characters for its next game, so this should be considered just a rumor. Despite this, some fans believe that Conan the Barbarian would be a good fit for the franchise's bloody combat.

Corden said he has heard details about this character coming to the roster, but is unsure if the game will feature the classic version of the character or the Arnold Schwarzenegger version.

"There's also a few other characters that I know about. I've heard Conan the Barbarian might be a character. I don't know if it's Arnold Schwarzenegger's version or just the book version." Corden said.
