The new season of The Witcher will premiere next month and fan opinion remains divided. This since it will be Henry Cavill's last episodes as Geralt of Rivia. Anya Chalotra, actress who brings Yennefer to life, knows that viewers are not happy, so she spoke on the subject in a recent interview.
Chalotra spoke briefly about the great job they have done alongside Cavill throughout 3 seasons. So he understands the fans to a certain extent, as he knows that the celebrated actor is a very important part of the series and that his departure is bad news for many.

In a chat with Entertainment Weekly (via ComicBook), Chalotra finally spoke about the changes that the series will undergo with the premiere of Season 4, when Liam Hemsworth will take the lead role as Geralt of Rivia.
She assured that Henry Cavill's departure was something difficult to assimilate, as she knows that the actor is a fundamental part of the production and its initial success. She was proud of everything they have done together, so she took the opportunity to wish the actor luck in his next projects. Likewise, she affirmed that Cavill will be missed by everyone.
"All we knew were the feelings that we have when any season comes to an end. It's full of pride and love and accomplishment for what we've done. So, we stayed in that moment rather than anything else. The news was... yeah, it's hard to take because he's a crucial part of the show and we all adore him. So, we're gonna miss him a lot. I wish him all the best."" the actress said.
Season 3 of the series will be divided into 2 parts and the first one will debut on June 29 with 5 episodes. Then, on July 27, the final 3 episodes will premiere with Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia.
