Several Silent Hill projects are on the way and fans are very excited to learn more about them.. However, Konami has remained silent and we haven't heard any news about the Silent Hill 2 remake and more titles.
All indications are that this will change soon, at least that's what a reputable insider of the franchise hinted at. DuskGolem raised the hype of gamers, as he suggested that several trailers of the new projects are near, as he was able to see some of them and gave his impressions.
Insider suggests Silent Hill news coming soon
DuskGolem assured that Konami already has new trailers ready for Silent Hill 2 Remake, Silent Hill: Townfall and Silent Hill: Ascension. He stated that the remake, the most anticipated game, has an attractive art direction, while the other 2 projects look quite interesting.
On the other hand, the insider reaffirmed that he doesn't know what's going on with The Short Message, a title that was classified, but not revealed at any recent event. Later, its registration mysteriously disappeared and there was no explanation from Konami.
Now, when would the game trailers arrive? DuskGolem did not reveal a specific date, but assured that at least one of the videos will arrive before Summer Game Fest 2023. As expected, fans are hoping it will be the one for Silent Hill 2 Remake, but no one knows for sure.
While DuskGolem is an insider who has proven to be reliable, it would be best to take his information as just a rumor and manage our expectations for a possible imminent reveal.
It's not unreasonable to think that Konami will take advantage of this announcement season to surprise Silent Hill fans, but it's important to stress that nothing is currently scheduled.
