A new Pokémon Presents is very close, according to leak

While analyzing the code of the most recent Pokémon Masters EX update, dataminers noticed a reference to Pokémon Presents. Interestingly, the name of the event was linked to a date: August 8.

As such, it is believed that a new presentation will be held on that day and will include news about various projects in the franchise. If so, The Pokémon Company will surely confirm the event in a few days.

Fans of the series are convinced that the leak is accurate, as Pokémon Masters EX and other titles always tend to have special events shortly after a Pokémon Presents takes place. Despite this, it is important to mention that this is simply speculation and the date found does not necessarily indicate when the next presentation will take place.

The most recent Pokémon Presents was held at the end of February this year. For that reason, the community also believes that it is viable that a new presentation is very close. If confirmed, it is speculated that it could have news about Pokémon Scarlet & Violet DLC, the new Netflix series, Detective Pikachu Returns and more announcements.

As of this writing, The Pokémon Company has not commented on the leak. So we will have to wait for the company to confirm or deny the information.
