The next year will be full of collaborations for the TCG

Magic: The Gathering knows very well what it means to have a good collaboration; however, we never expected the trading card game (TCG) to have expansions like these. It turns out that Wizards of the Coast announced that Magic will have expansions from major video game franchises like Assassin's Creed, Final Fantasy, and Fallout.

Wizards of the Coast announced the expansions that Magic: The Gathering will receive in 2024. Among them, there are several that will be part of Universes Beyond, a series focused on crossovers with other franchises.

The collaborations in 2024 will start with an expansion focused on Fallout, Bethesda's post-apocalyptic RPG, which will arrive in late the first quarter of 2024. The second expansion based on a video game will be from Assassin's Creed, Ubisoft's flagship franchise. This collaboration is expected to debut in the third quarter of 2024.

But what about the Final Fantasy expansion? It is also on its way, but we will have to wait a while to play it as it will debut in 2025. The good news is that Wizards of the Coast has already provided details about its content.

"The set will feature every main Final Fantasy released to date, from the original Final Fantasy to the recently launched Final Fantasy XVI. The set will also be playable in Magic Arena," stated Wizards of the Coast.
