Bethesda gave a glimpse of what's coming for its space-themed RPG

The debut of Starfield fell short of expectations, and while it wasn't a disaster, some players and critics agreed that it could have been better. The good news is that this space-themed RPG has a long journey ahead, and time will improve everything, at least that's Bethesda's commitment.

Starfield will have its first major update. When will it arrive, and what does it include?

The development team of Starfield reported that the first major update is ready for release, but the first to test it will be participants in the closed Beta on Steam on January 17. According to Bethesda, 2 weeks later, the update will be released for all versions of the game, reaching all players who are eagerly awaiting notable improvements.

Regarding this, Bethesda announced that the major update for Starfield will be the first of its kind and will include over 100 improvements and fixes, although the patch notes will be available in the coming days, letting players know what and how the space RPG will change.

However, the development team didn't leave Starfield players in the dark and anticipated that a significant goal of this update will be to enhance the visual aspects and details, as well as fix some elements that could disrupt missions or space travels: "This update contains a multitude of mission fixes. Storm's Eye issues, such as the inability to dock with the Legacy or the data transfer not initiating, and the fact that temples don't appear in the Into the Unknown mission, will no longer prevent Constellation from exploring the cosmos."
