This week saw the latest edition of the Xbox Developer_Direct, a special event where a lot of information about the company's upcoming games was shared. Undoubtedly, the highlight was the new adventure of Indiana Jones.

During the final moments of the broadcast, Bethesda and MachineGames shared the first official trailer of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, the new game based on the LucasFilm franchise. They also revealed a lot of information about game systems, the story, and other topics of great interest.

What caught most attention was the appearance of the protagonist. After an intense initial sequence, it was confirmed that the archaeologist and adventurer will have the appearance of a young Harrison Ford, the actor who participated in all the films of the saga. Specifically, Entertainment Weekly reported that Troy Baker, who played Joel Miller in the The Last of Us saga on PlayStation and many more characters throughout his career, will lend his voice to the archaeologist in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. According to a developer from the studio, the actor is a great admirer of the character.

"[Troy Baker] really brings that charm and humor in a very good way. He's also a big fan of Indiana Jones, which is great. So, he's also very involved in the game," commented Jerk Gustafsson, lead designer, and co-founder of MachineGames.

According to the EW report, Tony Todd, who played Venom in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and the supernatural being Candyman in the eponymous film saga, is also involved in the new Xbox project. Specifically, he will give life to a mysterious man known as Locus.
