LITTLE NIGHTMARES III was revealed at the end of last year and generated a lot of hype among its fans. The new project from Supermassive Games and Bandai Namco was scheduled for the coming months; however, there's bad news: the title will be significantly delayed and will no longer debut in 2024.
LITTLE NIGHTMARES III debut delayed until 2025
Through a statement, Supermassive Games explained that their developers have been working hard on the development of LITTLE NIGHTMARES III over the past few months. They added that their goal is to satisfy the fans and meet the quality standards expected for a new installment.
For this reason, they decided to postpone the game’s release from 2024 to sometime in 2025. It’s important to mention that LITTLE NIGHTMARES III does not currently have an exact release date for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
"As much as we can’t wait for you to return to the Nowhere, we also want to make sure we give the game the care and love it deserves. Quality is a top priority for us, and we know you feel the same way. For this reason, we’ve made the decision to shift the release of the game to 2025.," explained the studio.
Fortunately, there will be news about the new installment this announcement season. The developer confirmed that they will share updates this summer. They also thanked the players for their patience and understanding.
