Dragon Ball has primarily featured fighting games, but the appealing universe created by Akira Toriyama has also been adapted to other genres. There is good news for fans of the franchise, as today the first details of Dragon Ball Project: Multi, a new title in the saga, were revealed.

It's a MOBA that is currently in development for PC and mobile devices. Players will be able to get the first look at this League of Legends-style title very soon, as it will have a Beta in selected countries that can be accessed via registration.

Bandai Namco surprised everyone by revealing Dragon Ball Project: Multi, a title that will have Goku and other Dragon Ball characters battling in 4-player team fights. Its release is planned for PC (Steam) and mobile devices with iOS and Android.

For now, it doesn’t have a release date, but we know that it will have multiple Beta tests. The first will take place on August 20 on Steam; however, it will be available for players in selected countries.

Initially, players from the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom will be able to participate. At the time of writing, no test has been confirmed for other regions, nor are there any hints of a possible port for PC. Registrations will be available on the official website.

Dragon Ball Project: Multi takes the concept of League of Legends, Pokémon UNITE, and other games in the genre and blends it with the essence of the popular Japanese franchise. Each character will have their iconic abilities, special moves, and specific roles in battles. Below, you can watch a trailer of the project:

What are the requirements to play Dragon Ball Project: Multi?

While the Beta won’t be available in all regions for now, Bandai Namco has already revealed the minimum requirements to enjoy Dragon Ball Project: Multi on PC and mobile devices.

Android users will need a device with a Snapdragon 855 or later. The company recommends a second-generation Snapdragon 8. Additionally, it’s important to have Android 10 or later and 4 GB of RAM.

For Apple devices, it’s recommended to have at least an iPhone 11, although ideally, you should have an iPhone 13 or later, as well as iOS 15. Below are the requirements to enjoy the game on computers:
